eAudio: the standard eAudio license allows one loan at a time and does not expire. At an average price of $73.24, it exceeds the average price of the retail eAudio price ($34.33) with a markup of 113%. Since the license does not expire, libraries may consider this price reasonable for titles with durable patron interest.

Concurrent use: Dreamscape offers a concurrent use license in addition to the perpetual use license on select titles. The license, which they call "Metered Access: 100 checkouts (concurrent users)” offers 100 simultaneous use checkouts. It is priced at 150% of the perpetual use license. So Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell has a perpetual use license that costs $79.99 and a “MACU” license for $119.98. A cost-per-circ of $1.20 is a comparable-to-favorable value to the titles available in OverDrive’s Cost-Per-Circ section. It appears that the “MACU” license is available on all titles, so libraries may wish to consider that when planning book clubs, book-of-the-month campaigns, or community read programs.
